The Wirral Tennis League is run by an executive committee made up of seven volunteers. The league has been in existence since 1978 and facilitates competitive tennis all year round. This includes a Summer and Winter season as well as competitions such as the Wirral Tankard and the annual Liverpool v Wirral Challenge. There are 16 venues entered into the Summer league for 2024 which makes up 49 different teams within the mixed league and 37 teams in the men's league.

The league also aims to provide opportunities within the local community for young people which is made all the more possible with the support from our sponsor Sure Solutions.
