The Liverpool League v Wirral league Challenge was instigated by David Sims who remembered the event being played in the 1990s. It was played on Monday 1 May (Bank Holiday) at Blundellsands LTC. The match consisted of Open age events (singles & doubles) and veterans (over 50s doubles). It was a very enjoyable day of tennis. Results to follow.
